All you need is …

Half a teaspoon of matcha powder

Quarter cup of hot water

One cup of additional hot water

Optional:  honey, maple syrup or any other sweetener to taste

Simply …..

Sift the matcha to remove any lumps, into a mug or small bowl.

Pour the quarter cup of hot water into the mug and use a matcha whisk to whisk

vigorously in a “W” pattern for about 30 seconds, or until it is frothy.

If you don’t have a matcha whisk, you can easily use an electric frother.

Then fill up the mug with the remaining hot water and enjoy.

Optional:  add a little sweetener to taste.
