Organic Cacao Butter


This pure raw Cacao Butter is pressed from cacao bean nibs that are fermented for up to 7 days before they are sun-dried.

It is Certified Organic and Fair Trade, and has no sugar or anything artificial added. These smooth Cacao butter chunks contain natural antioxidants. It is a pale yellow colour with a delectable, natural cacao flavour and aroma. Versatile cacao butter is perfect for delicious raw food treats, home-made chocolate, ice cream and desserts. It is also great for home-made skincare products.

Cacao Butter can be used in smoothies, homemade ice creams, raw treats, dairy-free or milk chocolate, and desserts.

This organic cacao butter melts easily at a low temperature of about 30-36C. Simply cut into pieces that are roughly the same size and place in a bowl over a pot of hot water. Stir with a wooden spoon until smooth, fluid texture is achieved. Add to recipes as required. Cacao butter may also be used as a nourishing face and body moisturiser.

Add to a warm bath; rub directly onto skin after bathing; or make a beautiful whipped cacao body butter.
