I have been able to get hold of these larger white mushroom.
Because of their random sizing we can offer them in .950-1.1kg size bags.
Flat mushrooms have a rich meaty flavour and dense texture. This makes them a great base for dishes and a good meat substitute.
They are highly nutritious providing B vitamins, selenium, potassium, and vitamin D.
Their bold umami flavour is more intense than younger mushroom cups.
They are excellent for the BBQ, roasting, stuffing and slicing.
They can be eaten as a main dish or a protein alternative.
