Organic Cherries – 1kg

I finally got the call, “we’re picking Cherries this week”!

They are able to sell their Perfect Quality cherries for more than $100 for a 5kg box, actually a lot more than that.

So the ones that get rejected for not being beautiful – stemless, slightly smaller, irregular shaped, slight blemish … these may be taken up by those F&V box companies who say they are rescuing “thousands of kilos of cherries”, at a price of “their” choosing, then sell at a huge profit.  This is the last option a farmer wants.

So if you would like to order some Cherries this week, you’ll be getting them at a price the farmers are happy to receive for all their hard work during the year, that don’t make “the grade”.
