Organic Young Jackfruit – 400gm

This tin of Young Jackfruit is Certified Organic.

I had never heard of this massive fruit before, until I was told that it could make some amazing savoury dishes.  Most notably as a “Pulled Pork”.

It’s best to Google how to prep the Jackfruit, there are a few different methods, but breaking it up, removing the core and any large seeds, and a good rinse to remove the brine, seems to be the common method.

Adding a BBQ Sauce and serving in tacos, buns or wraps.  Adding various spices will give you a different flavour, but the texture of a pulled pork or chicken can make a dish the vegans and the carnivores will enjoy.
