ADD-ON Cherries “No Nasties” – 1kg Tub

“We Have Cherries!!!”  … didn’t think we could get them this week.  But thanks to all the rain, and there are not a lot around, prices have increased.

This season had been slow to start, then there was the rain and hail, the heat, more rain … these farmers can’t get a brake, especially when your “Local Cherry Farmer” adheres to the best possible “no nasties” practises.

They use self pollinating varieties, no synthetic sprays, grown in rich fertile red volcanic soils, in clean air environment, with ample supply of their own fresh water – and certified for all food safety, quality and environmental practices for the growing of Cherries in Victoria.

This year I am taking only the premium produce, I just found we couldn’t always rely on a batch that would have a longer life than a few days.  So you can be assured we will do our best to supply you with scrummies Cherries.

They are able to sell their Perfect Quality Cherries for more than $170 for a 5kg box, depending on variety and size.  So I’m grateful we can pass on the savings to you, by buying in bulk.
