Located on the opposite side of the hill to Belgrave, and on the way to Montrose, there’s lots we enjoy over this side of the hill. The Deli Platter at Olinda is a favourite place to stop, with lots of delicious local, vegetarian and homemade food.

Living and working up in the Dandenong Ranges always makes us realise how lucky we are to be surrounded by so much beauty and nature. As nature lovers we always enjoy walking through the Dandenong Ranges National Park and there are a few great walking tracks we like exploring off the Basin-Olinda road, including the Ridge track and Banksia track. If we’re feeling more ambitious, the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail from Mount Evelyn is always an option, although quite often we stick to browsing for exotic and native plants from the good quality plant nurseries around Mount Evelyn.
